Snow is all we seem to have had this week here in the UK. This snow painting is my depiction of a barren winter woodland scene. It is not an existing view, but rather composed from some sketches/photos I made of a chestnut tree winter woodland.
The wood itself was eerily quiet and devoid of life when the snow was down, yet there was some evidence of life - there were footprints in the snow along the path.
